About the album

Oh hey! Nataly here :) We made a French album!!!

PHOTOGÉNIQUE is the groovy bossa-pop record that we’ve spent the last three years crafting together. Writing in French brought me back to my childhood in France and Belgium - all those early memories of first crushes, middle-school and finding myself. So the album feels very sweet and nostalgic to me. As you may know, we started posting videos of us in the studio long before we had any idea what it would sound like. All we had were a few demos, Jack’s musical direction and some of our favorite musicians in the whole world.

After months of tracking songs in the studio with the band, we handed off most of the production to Jeremy Most, whose taste is…impeccable. He poured so much time into all the details - the lush, sparkly moments that make you go, “Ooooooo!!!”

Anyhow, I’m so proud of what we made, and grateful that we get to do this. I hope you’ll put on some headphones, go on a walk and see where PHOTOGÉNIQUE takes you. Thanks for listening.
